Vet Access to BVD on ScotEID
Vets can request a login to ScotEID and this will enable them to view the BVD status of their Clients and the BVD tests uploaded by a Government Approved laboratory. Laboratories upload BVD results to ScotEID against a CPH, this includes the postcode of the vet practice used by the CPH
Vet login to ScotEID
To enable a vet to see the BVD results of their clients on ScotEID, the vet can email a request to help@scoteid.com providing the following information:
· Vet postcode
· Full Name
· Email address
· Telephone number
· Mobile number
· Job title
ScotEID will check:
· That the request is from the phone number or email address of the vet practice.
· The vet is listed on the RCVS website.
· That a BVD laboratory uploads BVD results with the Post Code associated with the practice that the vet works in.
· The vet practice is listed on ScotEID – If not listed see below
Adding Vet Practice to ScotEID
ScotEID has a table of vet practices in Scotland, if the practice is new and not already listed, it can be added.
ScotEID will request the following information via email from the vet practice
· Vet practice postcode
· Full Name of Vet Practice
· Address of Vet Practice
· Telephone number
· Email address
ScotEID will check the RCVS website to check the practice is listed and if not they will add it.
