  1. Click on Combined Status Checker which is under the Cattle Menu of the ScotEID home page, as shown by the red arrow.

  2. A blank box will appear to allow you to enter in the 12 digit eartag number with the UK prefix. Enter the eartag number, where shown then click on Check Status

  3. The results will indicate if the eartag number searched, has a SPECC status and a BVD status. In the example shown, the green indicates the animal is Scotch Potential Eligible (SPE) and the BVD status is Negative. The animal's birth and movement details, are also shown. A different status outcome will show up in a different colour and the reason given as shown in image two.
