  1. To go to the ScotEID website, enter www.scoteid.com into your Web browser.
    • To go to the ScotEID website, enter www.scoteid.com into your Web browser.

    • Click on BVD Lookup which is under the Cattle Header of the ScotEID home page.

  2. You can search by Animal Holding (CPH) or Animal ID.  Enter in the relevant CPH or Animal ID then click on Query Database, where shown in the first image. The second image shows the result when searching by CPH.  The BVD Herd Status  is shown inside a coloured banner (see table in step 3),  along with a brief note of when the last test was completed and which type of testing option was competed.  It will also show the BVD renewal date. The third image shows the result when searching by Animal ID.  The BVD status for the individual animal is shown inside a coloured banner (see image in step 3) and inside the box you can view the Animal Data and Test Data.

    • To go to the ScotEID Terms and Conditions, click on the blue hyperlink where shown by the blue arrow in the first image.

  3. The first image shows the Individual Status of Cattle, outlining the necessary movement restrictions and Biosecurity recommendations. The second image shows the Herd BVD Status outlining the categories, the description and impact on animal movement to other herds or a livestock market.
